| Why did you join the fire department? |
The honest reason for me joining the fire department was some of my friends in school were members of various different departments around the county. After 30 years and moving up the ranks it has become a very important part of my life as well as my Families. |

| What is your favorite aspect of the fire service? |
My favorite aspect of the fire service is serving my community. I moved to this community at the age of 12 and have been here since. I have since raised my family here in this community as well as Cool Springs Fire Department. Unless you have experienced the "Brotherhood" you would have no idea why we do this. |

| Outside of the department, what are some things you like to do for fun? |
My down time is spent with my wife, Christie of 30 years. We raised 2 adult kids, DJ and Emily. We enjoy spending time with our 2 Labrador retrievers Dolly and Hank. |
