Donate Your Unwanted Structure!

Are you scheduling your home or building for demolition? Do you have an unwanted structure or vehicle with little or no value market value? Cool Springs Fire has a solution for you: donate it to us!

Fire departments across Iredell County having been using donated structures for decades. Departments that do not have structures to work with have to simulate building conditions using whatever materials are available to them at their station (tables, chairs, trash bins, etc.)

By donating your structure you are giving your local firefighters a chance to train realistically, improving the skills that are needed to serve you in a real emergency. It allows them to practice in a setting that most resembles what they will encounter in the real world. This is especially important in the volunteer fire service, because our members come with all types of backgrounds and experience levels.

Cool Springs VFD will even demolish your structure by controlled fire. Very little of the structure remains when complete, saving the property owner money in final demolition and cleanup costs. We maintain all required paperwork, air quality permits, state forms, etc.
