Cool Springs Engine 2 and Squad 1 attended the Iredell County Fairgrounds on November 2nd, for the 1st Annual Community Day. Members of the department handed out "goodies" to the children and showed them the trucks. The proceeds for this event went to the burned children's fund of Iredell County. Many different public service departments throughout the county attended. This was a day for the community to come out and see the different aspects of public service throughout the county. Also, offered was food and different kinds of entertainment. At the end of the night they had a drawing for the raffle and a great fireworks display.
