Our members participated in a community day and bell tower dedication at Cool Spring Elementary School. Sponsored by the Cool Spring Ruritan Club the event included a dedication of a new “bell tower” for the school. The group raised funds to refurbish the bell and members constructed the new bell tower along with other community members. The original tower had been removed when the school was renovated. The new bell tower is dedicated to the late Bill Robertson. Bill was a charter member of the club as well as a teacher and principal at the school for over three decades. Bill was also a charter member of our department and served for 25 years.
