A house fire that was determined to be an arson fire took the efforts of our department and three of our neighbors to control. Statesville Engine 4 and Chief 200 were the first arriving on the scene. Ebenezer Engine 1 arrived and laid a 4" supply line to support the firefighting efforts. A quick knockdown by crews was accomplished but damage to the home was extensive. Companies remained on the scene for several hours. Iredell County Sheriff's Office and the Iredell County Fire Marshal's Office investigated the fire. Red Cross responded to assist the occupants.
