A single vehicle accident with a pin in proved challenging with the vehicle off in a large drainage ditch beside Mocksville Highway. Driver was pinned in the vehicle and the passenger door and the roof were removed to facilitate her removal. Patient was transported by EMS to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Personnel from Engine 2, Iredell Rescue 10, Rescue 17 and Medic 9 along with the crew of IMED 3 worked together to make this a successful extrication.
