A pickup pulling a trailer caught fire in the west bound lanes of Interstate 40 this afternoon. Fire Chief 200 was the first to arrive on scene and confirmed a working fire. County Line Engine 1 was the first arriving engine company. A 1.75” hand line was placed in operation to control the fire. Engine 2 arrived and assisted with overhaul. Good teamwork by both departments.
