Cool Springs companies responded to a report of a barn fire. Engineer Todd Bowers arrived on the scene first and reported a working fire in a small out building. Engine 1 arrived and a 1.75" hand line was deployed to control the fire. Mutual aid companies from Statesville, Rowan-Iredell, Wayside and Cleveland were canceled. Fire was caused by an unattended controlled burn.
