On Monday nights the fire department gets together to train on different evalutions that we are likely to encounter on the fire ground. On this particular Monday night we trained on vertical ventilation. Crews went to the training grounds after a short classroom session to do hands on training. While most of the members went to train we did have a few members Firefighters/EMT's standby at the base for any emergency calls.
