Tanker 1 Mutual Aid to Wayside - Garage Fire Bethesda Road

Cool Springs Tanker 1 responded to assist Wayside Fire Department on a working garage/outbuilding fire on Bethesda Road. Wayside Fire Chief Pete Deans was leaving Wayside Station 1 and saw heavy smoke in the area just south of the station. He went to investigate and found a working garage fire at 319 Bethesda Road. Chief Deans requested a full alarm assignment for a working structure fire. Wayside, Cool Springs, Statesville Fire and Iredell Rescue Squad were dispatched to the scene. Tanker 1 arrived on the scene and provided water to Engines 601 and 603. The fire was declared under control at 18:07.
