Cool Springs Fire department was invited to attend the Thank Responders event at Statesville High School. Members of the department took Engine 1 and Squad 1. Members took fire helmets for the kids, stickers, and brochures telling of the department, etc. Kids got to try on first hand the turnout gear that firefighters wear as well as be able to get into the fire trucks. Thank Responders had different events set up through out the day also with Music entertainment, Sir Purr from the Carolina Panthers, Bolt, and many other fun events.
