By Chief Andy Webster
September 19, 2015

Fire Chief Webster, Deputy Chief Groff, Captain Teague and Engineer Bowers traveled to Mechanicsville Maryland to complete the purchase of our new Engine 2 from the Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department. Mechanicsville Engine 23 is a 2003 Pierce Dash engine with a 1500 gpm pump and 750 gallon tank. It will be assigned to Station 1 once it is placed in service. Thanks to Fire Chief John Raley and the members of the Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department for their hospitality while we were there.
