Each year Cool Springs Fire Department has an annual meeting. This is a formal meeting where the total of calls for the year and the budget is reviewed for the fire department with the board of directors. The fire departments budget year runs from July to June so in August the annual meeting is normally held and the community is welcome to attend. This year also we had a small promotion ceremony where one of our Assistant Chiefs was promoted to Deputy Chief and one of the Captains were promoted to Assistant Chief. Also a short appreciation to a few members that were given a Life Safety pin for helping save a patient who was in cardiac arrest on a medical call on I-40. We are now looking forward to another great year!!
